Wildlife from my immediate surroundings in the heart of Kiskunság National Park.
Some encounters do not require distant travel or extraordinary circumstances. They happen just outside the door, along familiar paths, in the silence of early mornings and late evenings. These are the animals that share my everyday environment.
Living on the edge of one of Hungary’s most remarkable landscapes has shaped the way I observe wildlife. The subjects in this collection are not chosen because they are rare or spectacular, but because they are part of the place I call home. Birds, mammals and other species appear throughout the seasons, often unnoticed by those who pass them by.
Each drawing is both a portrait and a personal record of coexistence—a tribute to the wildlife that quietly accompanies daily life. Through careful observation and the precision of ballpoint pen, I aim to capture not only the appearance of these animals, but also the familiarity and connection that comes from sharing the same landscape.
